2015 MLB World Series is Set

After a drama-filled American League Division Series between the Texas Rangers and the Toronto Blue Jays, and a National League Division Series between the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers, I was a little hopeful for an American League and National League Championship Series that was a little less melodramatic.

With the Blue Jays taking on the Kansas City Royals for the American League Championship and the Chicago Cubs taking on the New York Mets for the National League Championship, the Royals sent the Blue Jays back to Canadada (yes, that was intentional) to contemplate what went wrong over a bowl of poutine and the Mets just flat-out swept the Cubs in 4 games, sending Cubs fans home to pack away their "Fly the W" flag in the hall closet until next season. With that, the stage is now set for the 2015 World Series and it is the Royals vs. Mets

Game 1, in a best of seven series, begins on Tuesday, October 27 at 8:07 p.m. Eastern Time with the series starting in Kansas City at Kauffman Stadium.

Quick side note - I had hoped that the Cubs would have been able to put up a little more of a fight in the series with the Mets, but I guess the curse of Murphy the Goat was just too strong to break.
