KC Royals #Crowned 2015 MLB World Series Champions

It was starting to look like the Mets were going to take Game 5, but just like in previous games this season, the Royals rolled up their sleeves, put on their rally caps, and pulled off another nail-biting 12-inning win. With the 7-2 win, the Royals were crowned the 2015 MLB World Series Champions.

It was hard not to root for this group of underdogs. The Royals 2014 season seemed to have lady luck on their side. Things just clicked for them at the right time and before you knew it, they had a spot in the World Series. Facing the San Francisco Giants, the Royals took the series all the way to Game 7 but came up short in the end. Could they repeat their run and make it to the World Series again? Despite the commentary from every television or radio show analyst saying otherwise, the Royals made each and every one of these guys eat their words. Not even the Mets Daniel "The Amazin' Murph" Murphy and his record-setting post-season play could save his team from what was certainly a quick exit.

So, now that the season is over, it is time to think about what is in store for us in 2016, and what the winter trades during the off-season will bring us. The anticipation is much like that of a child waiting to see what Santa brings.

Happy offseason, y'all!
